• 2nd Shift: $27.00/hour

Position Overview

We are hiring Class A CDL drivers for a local shuttle operation moving industrial equipment between Lafayette and Monticello, IN. This is a consistent, short-haul route with multiple daily runs and steady hours.

Route Details

• Shuttle lane: Lafayette, IN ↔ Monticello, IN
• 50-mile round trip
• 2–3 runs per day
• Live load/unload cycle with return freight

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM
• Some Saturdays as needed

Home Time

• Home daily
• Home weekends
• Potential for additional weeknight home time

Equipment & Freight

• Kenworth trucks (2016–2023)
• Double drop trailers
• Freight includes engines, radiators, and generator units (some oversized)
• Governed at 65 MPH

Compensation & Bonuses

• Hourly pay with consistent schedule
• $500 transition bonus (paid on second paycheck)

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 1 year driving experience
• At least 6 months flatbed experience (within last 3 years)
• Securement experience (chains & binders)
• Must be available for occasional Saturdays
